It Just Works. Within the Warranty, Within Reason.

Made by Orchard

Known for

Memory and storage upgrades priced like gemstones. A port removed 'for simplicity', then the dongle sold at the till. A repair policy of 'replace the whole thing'. A 'new chip' announced every year as the reason last year's model feels old.

Character

Serene, brushed-aluminium calm. It describes a soldered, unupgradeable memory ceiling as 'a unified vision' and an 8 GB base model as 'plenty, for what you'll do'. It never explains why the upgrade costs more than the rest of the machine.
